Nouns  refer to persons, animals, places, things, ideas, or events, etc. Nouns encompass most of the words of a language. Noun can be a/an -   Person  – a name for a person: - Max, Julie, Catherine, Michel, Bob, etc. Animal  – a name for an animal: - dog, cat, cow, kangaroo, etc. Place  – a name for a place: - London, Australia, Canada, Mumbai, etc. Thing  – a name for a thing: - bat, ball, chair, door, house, computer, etc. Idea  – A name for an idea: - devotion, superstition, happiness, excitement, etc. Different Types of Noun: Proper Noun Common Noun Abstract Noun Concrete Noun Countable Noun Non-countable Noun Collective Noun Compound Noun Proper Noun: A  proper noun  is a name which refers only to a single person, place, or thing and there is no common name for it. Do you want to write an good essay and do not know where to start? Here are suggestions for you. You should look at them instead of worrying. 1-) Choose a topic: The subject is the essence of an essay. So the topic you choose represents your essay. İf you have already had a topic, you can start to think on it. Your topic may be so general, in this case you should subdivide it. For example; if your topic were “Spain”, you could separate this topic into headings such as “the history of Spain”, “places to visit in Spain” or “the life in Spain”. But if you do not have a topic, you should think of the areas which you are good at. You can choose one of them or another interesting topic.
